forensic psychology is after the crime and criminal psychology is during the crime. criminal psychologists evaluate where forensic psychologists can cover matters excluding criminals. 
profiling is used to identify key characteristics of an offender to help the justice stem catch them. I am doing this because it is interesting and is what i am doing within the group work.

I am expanding on our differences between forensics and criminal psychology. Criminal psychology is the focus on catching the perpetrator and forensic psychology is focusing on the aftermath of a crime.
