         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) The littluns represent the follows in the bible who look to God. They look up to the older boys. They get scared, and they listen to the older ones. Like the people in the bible who are intimidated by the gods and those in power. "... rushed out howling so that the littluns fled screaming" (Golding 140)<br><br>2) Jack in a way represents like satanic ways almost embodying Satan. He wants to be in power and wants to be heard. He also plays undermining tricks on the others. " The rest of you can get this back to where we were." (Golding 136)<br><br>3) Simon in some way represents Eve as not being the smartest when she had fallen in Satan's trap and believing him. Simon is the most believing in the LOFT. "You know perfectly welll you'll only meet me down there- so don't try to escape!" (Golding 143)<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
