1. One modern example of American imperialism is Hawaii. There are also other territories the US has.
2. I think it is acceptable. I think anything that helps the US is acceptable as long as we aren't hurting innocent people for no reason. But the US has helped other countries for hundreds of years. People under the control of the US should feel happy about it I think.
3. There are many large foreign companies that affect the US today, which emulates imperialism. The companies want money and resources just like imperialists.

- Hawaii.
- Personally, yes I think it's okay because we aren't hurting any one , instead we're helping.
- Yes they do, because larger companies would do anything for money and self gain.

1. One modern example of American Imperialism is the annexation of Hawaii.
2. I don't think it acceptable for the United States to participate in Imperialism. With Empires, which the United States arguably is, comes the homogenization of populations. Some elements of the indigenous peoples culture may still be in intact, but for the most part the conquered people become almost indistinguishable from the conquerors. I think this loss of a good portion of the population's identity is unneeded, especially juxtaposed with the potential gains that the States had from imperialising.
3. Yes, many countries affect the United States with aspects of imperialism. The global market is built off the principle of some country doing poorly at the benefit of another. Currently, it's inevitable that the United States and other countries trade economic blows in order to try to take each others money and resources.
