"The Love Nest" by John Steel is a love song. Gatsby requests Klipspringer to play the piano and this was the song he played this is a representation of Daisy and her indecisiveness and having to make a choice between Tom and Daisy . "Shall we build for pride or shall we brick and motor hold warmth and love inside". pride would be a representation of tom and warmth and love is Gatsby's representation .

"Sheik of Araby" an up to beat jazz song is also a very influential song from The Great Gatsby. In context Jordan and Nick were passing through central park as they over hear little girls singing this song it is significant because it reflects Gatsby's feelings for Daisy. lyrics for explanation "I am a sheik of Araby , your love belongs to me ,at night when your asleep, into your tent ill creep" Fitzgerald used this song to metaphorically display Gatsby's feelings

"Three o clock in the morning " by Paul Whiteman is a very classical slow jazz song. The context of this song is referenced in chapter 6 of Gatsby. This song is more significant to the Chapter than i specific part.. Nick refers to the song as a sad one and throughout the chapter nick reveals that of what he knows about Gatsby. A certain party in this chapter Daisy finds unpleasant, among other situations of course. "its three o clock in the morning we have danced the whole night through and daylight soon will be dawning just one more dance with you. " perhaps Fitzgerald implemented this for a representation of Daisy and Gatsby dancing together
