I use Plickers as a quick check for certain lessons. In this video, I picked a few math topics that we have went over recently and turned them in to questions. With Plickers, I like that it is instant results to see who answered the question wrong and then we can discuss it as a whole group as to why which answer was correct and why. I also like that it shows which students answered and which students have not. The possibilities are endless with Plickers.

I love using Plickers because it helps you see right away if someone is not getting a concept. The last time I used it, we checked a Math homework. It was great for me to see who was still having trouble and had to be retaught. I like the idea that each student holds a unique card so they don’t really know the answer the others chose.

I love Plickers!!! It's quick and easy to set up!
- During todays lesson I used it before they broke off into partners to complete word problems around the room in order to determine their partners and to see which students would need more assistance when working out the problems.

We tried Plickers for the first time this week in a math lesson about 2-D shapes. I would recommend printing the answer cards on hard, thick paper like cardstock or gluing them to a journal cover. It was difficult to scan because we used regular paper, which was too flimsy. I think changing the paper would mostly fix that. I enjoyed it and even overheard one of my kids say, "that was fun," afterwards!
