In this article, Warner highlights how Michael Taylor, a former Montesano lobbyist appointed to the FDA, fought against the Delaney Clause, which prohibits cancer-causing additives in food products. With further research, I found that he did so around the same time, the 1990's, Round Up, a Montesano product, and many of their GMO's where released. My question is: Do these products cause health issues, such as cancer, that they Delaney Clause would have protected against? If so, is their reason to suspect that these corporations knew beforehand?

Many articles discuss the cures to stop obesity once it has already taken its course. However, none of talk about the main causes of obesity, such as mental illnesses. How badly do mental illnesses affect obesity? Is there a way for us to stop or help people with mental illnesses before they lead on to obesity?

Articles like these tend to always have data on different conditions like obesity and heart problems with the solution being following the food pyramid and the right diet. How come the idea of being mentally stable is never brought into the picture? People could develop different ED's (which are mental illnesses) which could greatly influence the data they are presenting.
