         <description><![CDATA[<p>I think that these sort of activities bring lots of benefits to students, since they have to work in groups , they need to develop their tolerance, respect their opinions  of course  they will have to search for information if necessary  and also they will have to organise their ideas and use the suitable vocabulary to support their opinions. So  students will develop their critical thinking  and soft skills as well.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As teachers we have seen many times , some students who feel reluctant to speak principally because they feel afraid of making mistakes in front of everybody. So , it is important to bring to the class a friendly environment this is something we can do with games. In this way , students may feel more relax when they  have to share and communicate in  small groups .</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br>Integrating podcast creation into language acquisition offers multifaceted benefits for students. Firstly, it provides a platform for learners to actively engage in authentic language production, fostering fluency and confidence in spoken communication. Through scripting, recording, and editing their podcasts, students practice vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in a meaningful context. I have worked with podcasts in class with students between 14-17 and they absolutely loved it. Students were engaged, did their research and worked a lot on pronunciation as well as intonation. Another benefit is that, the process encourages creativity and critical thinking as students conceptualize topics, structure content, and incorporate diverse linguistic elements. One thing that I consider very important is that podcasting cultivates active listening skills as students consume and analyze a variety of audio materials, such as interviews, narratives, or discussions.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Interview a friend</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I have had amazing results conducting mock interviews where students would take turns being the interviewer and interviewee. These interviews were first recorded and given to sthe students involved. This gives them the chance to watch and listen to themselves, analyse and discuss what needs to be changed and then, I give them the chance to record the interview again.  This helps students develop conversational skills in different contexts, work on their pronunciation, intonation and vocabulary as well together with a friend.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Questions</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>An activity that has worked very well in my classes is when students work in groups and ask and answer questions. For instance, in the last one students read a literary text, but they didn't understand well some parts of the plot, so they asked some questions and in groups they asked them and the other students answered them. In this way, the whole class understood the book and gave their impression about it. During this kind of activities they practice fluency, speaking, listening and the different types of questions. I realized they felt comfortable asking and answering, even the ones who don't usually speak. </p>]]></description>
