Create a theme for the evening for artwork and decorations to support. I can include my other classes and not just using art from another project. Our Ceramics 2 class was able to collaborate directly and create center pieces by design.

We can continue the Kumulipo theme or change from year to year or semester to semester. Themes can range from seasonal imagery to kinolau to 'ōlelo no'eau, etc...

We do a session here on campus where kumu do the serving for the students who will be working the event so they can hear kumu using the language the students will need for the event.
