All my life I have seen cop cars around, from being on the roadside to being at my neighbor's house. However, I think the most clear memory of one was in 2015 when I was five years old. It seemed like a normal day, we went to the store and my older sister came over to visit us and my mom made us spaghetti. But now that I look back I realize that my sister was just there to distract us from my mother's husband getting arrested. I really liked him at the time so I was confused as to where he was going, my mother was standoffish about it so I decided not to ask anything else. Only now am I finding out that he was being arrested for meth use and distribution.

This is the instrument my father bought me when I first started band, the teachers specifically told us to not get colored instruments but I really wanted a red one. They said it was low quality and would break easily, however, I have had the same flute for 3 years and it's had little problems. Funny enough many of my friends named their instruments so I named mine 'The Red Death', it's cringy and all but I'd never rename it. Im going to quit band this year so I can focus going into medical classes, I have already put up a spot where my flute can go on my wall and I'm excited to see how it will look once it's been put into retirement.

This is the place I got my first piercing, in a Walmart when they still had the ear piercing stations. I was excited because I had been pestering both my mom and my dad for piercings for a few years. My dad was the one who took me and I got pink two-carat earrings, they looked really good on me so even though I was crying due to holes getting put in my ears, I liked it a lot. Nowadays Walmarts don't have ear piercing stations but I'll always look to the spot where they once were, remembering that day. Most of the time with a smile on my face.

The show Super Why was a big part of my life when I was younger, of course I didn't have access to the internet so cartoons were the next best thing. I usually watched them at my grandma's house when my parents were taking turns having me any my brother, she had an old box tv that was mostly static and was hard to see. I was happy with it nonetheless. I remember there were three main protagonists, Super Why, Princess Pea, and Pig, they were from stories that usually every kid hears. Super Why was Jack from Jack and The Beanstalk, Princess Pea was from The Princess and The Pea, and Pig was from The Three Little Pigs. I liked the show back them but I recently watched an episode and it was pretty annoying, plus I felt weird watching it without being in my grandma's old trailer.

2020 was possibly the worst and the best year of my life so far, so many things happened and it's hard to pinpoint one thing without spiraling. The one object I remember the most is the masks, it is also the image you see the most when you search 2020, along with several dumpsters on fire. My dad first showed me one when we first went on lockdown, I hated them since they made me look weird. I accepted it though, something that a whole lot of people couldn't. The masks were there so I wasn't at risk of getting sick so I reminded everyone in my family to wear one when we were finally able to go outside of our houses. I think everyone was going stir crazy by the time we could go outside, who wouldn't? We couldn't go out of our homes, interactions were limited, many people lost their jobs, and surprisingly toilet paper was being hoarded. It wasn't all bad, I finally got the peace and quiet I wanted. Though I did end up losing a lot of friends.

This specific bed can sum up my entire life from 3-6 years old. When I say I loved this bed I mean I LOVED it, of course I was a toddler back then but it was my favorite thing about my room. I lived in a dingy little trailer back then with my mom, her husband, and my brother, so we didn't have much meaning this bed was probably the most expensive thing in the whole trailer. Every night I would look at the princess, say goodnight to every single one of them, and only then could I go to sleep. The bed got lost somewhere during the move to Carthage and I never saw it after that, it's kinda sad to think about because I loved that bed so much despite it not being in the best condition when we moved.

The first year I was ever taken to a drive-in theater was 2023, my first impression of the 66 drive-in wasn't the best because it took a long time for the movie to get started but I couldn't care less nowadays. There is really old playground equipment in front of the screen that you can play on before the movie and during intermission, it looks to be from the 2000's or 2010 due it not being plastic and instead being the scorching hot metal that everyone knows and loves. I don't remember the movie I went to go see but I do remember being excited because I got to eat and watch the movie from inside of my dad's truck. Usually every movie they pick out is great, the kids movies are first and the more adult ones are last, they show two movies per night. It's a fun experience, I do miss going with my older sister since I can't anymore. She moved to Canada with her husband and I rarely see her anymore.

My favorite blanket is the one in the picture above, mine is a little different as it only has Cinderella and Rapunzel on it. I got it on my second birthday because back then I was obsessed with everything related to princesses, I'm not now, and a lot of my princess memorabilia is thrown out. Still, I will always have that specific blanket with me wherever I go, it's in amazing condition despite it being 13 years old. If my princess blanket got a rip or tear in it I'd probably sob my eyes out before tearfully repairing it the best I can with my limited sewing capabilities, I hope I never loose it or misplace it.

I was given the Ms Ladybug pillow by my sister who was leaving for Canada when I was around one year old, I no longer have the pillow but now I wish I kept it. The pillow was half my size and so soft, it wasn't my favorite color, still, I liked it all the same. It was my sister's and she got it in 2008 in Walmart, she made sure to take care of it until she gave it to me because it was in amazing condition for already being 3 years old when I got it. I wish I kept it instead of getting rid of it a few years ago, it was my first meaningful gift from my older sister so now I feel really stupid. Surprisingly I'm now learning that a lot of others had the same pillow, before now I didn't think that the Ms Ladybug pillow was that popular, apparently it is. I'm glad I can share a part of a memory with someone else, even if it's not the exact same.

One thing I didn't know about my birthday is that I share it with the Karate Kid movie, it came out the same day I was born, and for some reason that weirds me out. I will probably never watch the movie, despite that I have read some summaries of the movie and it doesn't seem too bad. I think a kid befriending a repairman and that same man teaching him Karate to get rid of his bullies is a little unrealistic, seriously, who in their right mind would let their kid do that? I suppose it was a different time back then but didn't people know about pedophiles and weirdos? If I had a kid and he told me he was getting Karate lessons from an adult repairman he barely knows, I'd put a stop to it and lock the boy up in his room till he becomes an adult. Nonetheless, a lot of people like it, I personally would never watch it. Not a lot of people share a birthday with a movie and the fact that I share one with Karate Kid is pretty odd, to say the least.

My dogs Frankfort and Sgt. Snoop Dawg(Frankie and Snoopy for short), are the best dogs ever in spite of that, they are dumb. They are small dogs and easy to carry around, but their brains are smaller than a pea almost all the time. My dog Frankfort is fat and he will eat almost anything, he loves people but when he gets too excited he will run into the nearest hard object full force. Sgt. Snoop Dawg is very timid and lanky, he is very heavily influenced by Frankfort, and most of the time he looks traumatized for no reason. He will knock over his bowl and then throw a fit about it when he caused it himself. I love the two of them a lot, they are good dogs, they are just so stupid they would never survive on their own. I hope they live good long lives, it does make me sad knowing they live a fraction of our lives. We got them in 2021 and we think they are 5-10 years old, they still have a long life to live but it makes me sad knowing that eventually they won't be here with me and my parents.

My dad is ex-military, meaning he has a lot of experience with guns. Every year since I was five he took me and my brother to the shooting range so we could practice our aim, I have always loved it no matter what drama was happening within the family. Going to the shooting rage and letting off steam by shooting a few targets is how I destress in the warmer seasons, shooting in winter isn't the best because the metal is so cold. When I was around seven years old my dad bought my first pellet gun, it was pink and black and it matched my pink ear muffs that I wore when we were shooting. I loved it so much and even when I was at home I would practice on targets, it wasn't the best due to it always jamming despite that it got the job done. I think my dad just wanted to spend time with me and my brother in a way that wouldn't make us overly bored and it was something he actually knew how to do, he's not too much of an outdoorsy type. That pink pellet gun is now sitting in a box with the rest of the guns because it's broken and not worth fixing, I still love it and It serves as a reminder of what I like to do. I just can't use it anymore.

I was all the way in Arkansas when it happened but the tornado destroyed my elementary school, that means everything I had left in the school for the weekend was destroyed. I was devastated because I was worried for my friends and I was wondering where I was going to go to school until everything was rebuilt, I never got to know because soon after I moved to Carthage I started school at Marktwain Elemetary. I had to leave behind my best friends and people I still miss to this day, I would like nothing more than to meet them again but I don't know if I ever will be able to.

My dad's car looks like the one in the picture except that it's got a silver grill, black handles, and a Superman logo on the back of the tailgate. My dad is into superheroes and Marvel so he put some of the superhero's logos inside and outside of his car, I was surprised that he did that because he glued them onto the paint. He has the Superman logo, the Batman logo, the Spiderman logo, and the S.H.E.I.L.D logo. You don't have to look for them since the silver on the logos contrasts against the black paint on his truck. The first night he got the truck he picked me and my brother up from my mom's and he took us out to get ice cream, he was so excited to get a new car. Up to this day, he still likes the car but now that it is older and not so high performance he wants to upgrade a little, I pretty much grew up in that truck since my family likes to drive everywhere no matter how far it is. I went to texas in my dad's truck, twice, it was a long trip but it was worth every bit of it. Even though it's not in the best condition I'm excited to be able to drive it myself one day.

Mid 2024 I was hospitalized due to a car crash, it wasn't a normal one though. I was on my electric bike coming back home from Brahms and the next thing I knew a car T-bones me making me fly 10 ft off to the right, my bike was totaled, and the car had some damage to the bumper. I have never screamed so loud before in my life than I did in that instant. My dad and brother were with me and my mom was at home, she was the first one to get called besides an ambulance. When the paramedics got to me I was put in a neckbrace, my shirt was cut off, and I had to have an IV in my arm. The paramedics were really nice to me despite me crying my eyes out. When we got to the hospital I was struck with the smell of sterile, cold air and the smell of hand sanitizer. I have always been scared of hospitals so I was freaking out, the doctors nearly had to strap me down to the stretcher because I didn't want to be there. I was in pain, I was scared, and I was bleeding profusely from my arm and my right leg. To this day i still hate hospitals though I am grateful for the doctors and paramedics that helped me through it. 3/10 would not recommend to another person.
