Made from materials including stones, metal and leather, these masks are designed to display the moods and emotions associated with the festival. the mask are represent the deities, spirits and fabled animals that Chinese New Year mythology originated from. In china masks are used in Nuoxi, an ancient ritual performed in temples dedicated to exorcist gods during New Year's Eve festivities. the masks are symbolize mostly often represent departed ancestors, spirit beings, and invisible powers. this culture have really nice design and colourful around the mask. each different masks have different mean to it. they mask is important to cover their by respectability and/or deference which a person can claim for themself or from others. which face cannot be translated or defined.

It reflects Bolivia's unique blend of originals, to African and Spanish with strong influences to hold heartfelt culture. Many reasons why people wear the masks, is to conceal one's identity by allowing the wearer to be any spiritual, symbolic figures so it can channel these entities to be fully engaged in their roles.


It shows a sense of silence, allowing others to express themselves freely, often through sarcasm or mockery.


Did you know, one of each mask is a mix between good and evil?


The three masks are connected with various Bolivian historical events, by adding depth to the purposes of dances and performances, it's been like that since the 18th century in the Peruvian virreynato. It appears to be adapted for celebrations like the Carnival, Christian and pagan symbolism.
