Notes: Sketch for larger project.

Notes: done for art project in French class. The idea was to use an impressionist artist for inspiration. Artist chosen: Degas.

Notes: this one is my favorite out of the ones posted. Another is in progress.

Notes: not one of my best. Her hands look a bit claw like; somewhat similar to a lobster's I suppose. Oh well.

Notes: made this for a recycled art project at my school. Won People's Choice Award so that's pretty cool!

Notes: so the idea of this project was to make a fish but once the yin yang idea popped into my head two fish had to be made.

also the tail on the white one broke off :(

Notes: In reality this butterfly is larger than my torso...it's massive.

Notes: I'm not actually a big fan of this one because I don't think it conveys the idea that books transport you when you're reading so I think one day I'm going to have to sit down and make a new one...

Notes: I made this for art class because we were practicing the black figure technique used by the Greek on their vessels.

Notes: I did these for the VANS shoe contest through my school. Our school didn't make it on to the next round but I'm still uber proud of how these turned out.

Notes: I made this with plaster. If you look closely you can see words written on the arm and these are all things I've heard people call others in the hallways at school. I used the idea of a bandaged arm and broken glass to try and convey the idea that these words hurt their intended victim more than it may seem.

Notes: this idea came to me after reading an article (link below). I would portray a man and woman both hurt and crying to show the fact that both men and women face domestic abuse....
