For example, their spark notes on texts include snarkiness and jokes. I want the class to be circular to prevent from having rows, or columns, no kids gravitating to the back of the class when there is no back of the class! This layout would also encourage my students to get up and move around since a lot of my lessons will call for expressive movement, acting things out, getting out of your seat, and moving around. I will have my desk in the back of the class and will rarely be there during class, only to receive homework, and during silent reading or writing time. I want to have bookshelves lining the room well stocked with books.
