My prediction: I think they die because they are getting old.
A: From the website https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/encyclopedia/content.aspx?ContentID=34&ContentTypeID=160 I found that blood cells die around 120 days. I also found that there are many types of anemia which means you have less red blood cells, because you lack iron or a vitamin. I couldn't find the main reason for why red blood cells die

My prediction: I think that a broken spine would cause severe pain or even death.
A: I found out that there are nerves near the spine, so if the spine breaks the nerves stop sending signals to the brain and body. If too many nerves stop sending signals to the brain you have a chance of becoming paralyzed. A broken spine also leads to bones near it to move around. This is the site I used https://www.sralab.org/lifecenter/resources/spinal-cord-injury-what-it-and-what-does-it-affect.

My prediction: I think the are formed with all the nutrions we get from the food we eat.
A: I found that blood cells are made in bone marrow. There is a type of cell called the "stem cell." It divides into a immature red blood cell, then that immature blood cell divides into a mature blood cell AKA normal blood cells. After all of that happens the blood cells go into our bloodstream and do their "work" in our body.
