Sharon did not have a chance to study and now she might not do well on the test. Lisa, who was a mutual friend of Sharon and Laura, heard of Sharon’s situation. Lisa had taken the same test earlier in the day. Before Sharon’s class met, Lisa approached Sharon in the hall, slipped her a piece of paper with a smile, and walked away in silence. When Sharon opened the paper, she saw all the answers to the test. It was very small, so Sharon could easily hold it in her palm while she took the test. She knew that cheating was wrong, but it wasn’t her fault that she couldn’t study last night. She was just being a good friend. Is Sharon justified in cheating on the test? I think that Sharon should tell the teacher what she did last night and that she had a honest reason to why she couldn't study then if she is lucky the teacher will let her take the test next class. If the test was less important Sharon should just try to take it anyway. People cheat to make it easier on themselves. I think that Sharon could have just called her friend Laura and comforted her there while studying at home. She was a good friend by comforting Laura but not being a good student. It what not right of her other friend either to give her the answers of the test. Sharon is not justified to cheat on her test. I know that Sharon wouldn't want to fail a test, but she should've been able to listen to her conscience.
