-->I learnt that we should save electricity as the smoke from burning coals to make electricity pollutes the environment. Also, your electricity bills would be lower (textbook). I learnt that the correct way to say that the bulb exploded is that the bulb fused ( Jing Jing's note). Conductors of electricity are water, metal and graphite (textbook). Insulators of electricity are wood, glass, plastic, etc. (textbook). I also learnt that tungsten was actually not a good conductor of electricity, it can produce light as it can withstand strong heat (Mrs Khan's toondoo).

I learnt that electricity is a form of energy that powers electronical devices. A circuit allows electricity to flow through. A basic circuit is made up of a few basic objects e.g. batteries/ wire/ bulb. Conductors of electricity allow electricity to flow through it easily, especially metals. However, there are other non-metals that allow electricity to flow such as water, carbon ,graphite etc. The light bulb is made up of a metal tip, metal casing, glass casing and a filament. The filament, usually made of tungsten, is actually a poor conductor of electricity that is able to withstand high temperatures.

I learnt that electricity is one of the most basic forms of energy. It is composed of two forms, neutrons and electrons.Because of this, electricity is important for our daily routines everyday. There are also materials that are associated with electricity. they are called conductors/non-conductors of electricity e.g(iron, cloth, graphite wood...etc.) I have also learnt that electricity flows better in bulbs with parallel circuits as not only will it be brighter, when one bulb fuses, the others will still remain lit. This is why bulbs with parallel circuits are commonly installed in most households.

I learnt that in electrical circuit, the parallel arrangement is brighter than the series arrangement.(textbook). If two negative sides of two batteries is fixed together, the bulb cannot light up. Conserving electricity is easy. We can do it by using energy saving bulbs instead of our normal "filamental" bulbs. I also learnt that in the parallel arrangement, if a bulb fuses, the other bulbs can continue to light up. Most of the conductors of electricity as I have learnt in the textbook, is usually made of metals. But other materials can be conductors of electricity too In my opinion, my theory is that water is an insulator of electricity (textbook).
