         <description><![CDATA[<div>by Kassandra McCray<br><br>Although there are many, many reasons for utilizing video in delivering content for educational purposes, the psychology of connecting is an example of functional teaching through videos.&nbsp; The ability to control the tempo, tempering how the information is received, connects the consumer and brings the educator and user onto the same wavelength according to "How to use Psychology to Make Persuasive Video" on the Nir &amp; Far website.&nbsp; The innate curiosity of a human to engage with video opens the opportunity to deliver functional and persuasive content and engage on a deeper level than a lecture or reading.</div>]]></description>
