Results and Discussion

Both slices changed in appearance over the 7 day period. The slice that was kept in the container grew a fair amount of mold and lost some of its elasticity as it started to form to the bottom of the container. The slice that was just set on the counter formed an oily substance on the top and bottom of it, and hardened over the set period of time both slices changed in appearance. What was learned from these results were when you have something (anything that is supposed to be refrigerated) and it isn't the bacteria inside the food grows faster when the atmosphere is warmer.
