They have also tried  assessing wether the genes are more dominant in the behavior of the twins. Eric Erickson - studied the changes in motivation.
This study shows how and why children become less motivated or motivated based on the upbringing of the child.

Lawrence Kohlberg - studied the unchanged and moral thinking. This involves how the upbringing and and culture can affect an individual based on their upbringing.

Continuitie plays a big role in developmental psychology it shows how perception and language skills differ, it also shows wether the development is consistent or unconcinaiatent over time.
