“Transcendental meditation is not opposed to any religion — it is based on the basic truths of all religions — the common denominator.” -John Lennon

This is a fantastic quote from John Lennon of The Beatles. During the height of their careers, the group went on a trip to meet Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, a teacher of Transcendental Meditation (a form of meditation centered around the ideas of Transcendentalism). In a letter to a fan, Lennon described the experience and how they came to understand Transcendentalism better.
This quote best represents the tenet of "Spiritual Well-being", as Transcendentalism is not against any religion. Instead, it focuses on health of the spirit, which is at the center of almost every major religion.
The quote could also tie into "Intuition leads to Knowledge", as meditation is a practice that also allows for deeper insight and understanding of the natural world, as well as religion.

Which Transcendental author best articulates the idea that one's spiritual well-being is more important than one’s financial or social well-being?

Easily Henry David Thoreau. He gave up almost all of his material possessions and moved into a tiny cabin in the middle of the woods in order to better understand nature and himself. In other words, to better his spirit.
Throughout Walden it's easy to tell that he values the spirit over the flesh, and the more you read, the more convinced you become that it really is important for people to prioritize spiritual well-being over financial.
