While reading these articles I learned that
Saskatchewan is the biggest greenhouse gas emitter in Canada. This is true
because we rely so much on burning coal for heat and energy production. It would majorly help if we
started using solar energy because&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;we cut back on coal usage. We also in
Saskatchewan can cut back on small things too to help conserve energy. I will
give you a few that can really make a difference.

We all need clothes, and we need a washer
and dryer to keep our clothes clean. But, what most you don’t know is that a
lot of people don’t use dryers. They rely on the sunlight in the summer to dry
their clothes. I think this really conserves energy and can be a big
improvement to our energy usage.

Be honest you have often left a phone or
computer charger in a socket at least once. Some people will have one there
almost all day every day, and I will be honest I am guilty for doing this. That
doesn’t mean people can’t change. If we just take a couple seconds out of our
day to un-plug a charger it could save a lot of energy in the long run.

Smart thermostats are little devices that
know the temperature of your house all the time and can be set to keep one
temperature for a set time. This can save 20%-25% of your energy bill because
of the way the function.

<title>In Saskatchewan we have a lot of fossil fuel to heat our home and it is a very easy to get source of heat. That being said this source is very bad for the environment, it releases lots of heat trapping gases that are on of the main problems </title>

<title>If global warming gets to out of hand we may be forced to have a limited amount of water/heat. We also maybe forced to have solar panels on our roofs. This isn&#39;t guaranteed to happen but there is chances of it being a problem.</title>

<title>I don&#39;t have more than one option because I find there is only one option that is really good with very little cons. I find this option is solar energy. I think this because it has one con and multiple &quot;pros&quot; to it.&amp;nbsp; Our province is really sunny so we will hopefully get lots of energy out of it. It may be a little pricey but in the long run it will be very worth it. Using solar energy has no bad effect on the environment and it can slowly happen one community at a time.</title>
