Intruding into a class late is disruptive to the community of learners. Why not assign community service for repeat offenders to help them repay their debt? Clean, pickup trash, whatever it is beats ISS, right?

Incentivize attendance and promptness. Spot awards like donuts for a class caught 100% on time. Or a prize for the class with the best attendance rate all of them get entered to win a tv at semester. So theoretically you have kids encouraging each other to be on time and classes competing against each other to win a 50” tv at Christmas time. Someone local would probably donate it. But you would have really sell it. Announcements, updates. In stead of tv insert Xbox or whatever but a prize worth earning. Maybe for the teacher of the class an extra day off or a free iPad or a donated dinner at Barron’s with steak and wine.

Or the car from Lewis Motors thing. The idea is the same no matter what the prize.
