Amato is a warlock who specialises in hydrokinesis and scrying magic, and has studied under some of the greatest warlocks in all of Magix- he makes regular appearances as an ambassador to the Nymph kingdom of Aetos and other planets on behalf of the King and Queen. He spends his time assisting with war strategy, predicting the future of Aestos to avoid catastrophe and overseeing the council of Mages of Aestos.

To the wider realm, Kwangjun is known to be convivial, gracious and intelligent. A warlock worthy of respect, who will go down favourably in history's eye.

To his wife, daughter, and younger son, Kwangjun is genial and doting; especially to his oldest, Hoyeon. Though his expectations may be high, he's never afraid to steer his children in the right direction if they need it. While his marriage to Seoyeon is not one of love, he finds friendly companionship within her.

To Yeonjun, Kwangjun is the bare minimum. He is a father in duty only, in which he will shelter, feed, and monetarily support Yeonjun for basic necessities. His disappointment that his son didn't turn out a warlock like him has been a blight he's never overcome. Yeonjun will never know what it is to look in his fathers eyes and not see disappointment.

Seoyeon is a water faerie originally from the north of Aetos, coming from a lower nobility family who are renowned for their healing magic. Although her days are now mostly spent organising gala's or attending high society, she still dabbles in healing. She may not be the most powerful healer, but her theoretical knowledge triumphs, allowing her to be a reliable consultant in rare magical malady cases.

To the wider realm, she's a powerhouse of personality and style. A party isn't a party without Seoyeon, which is just the way she likes it.

To her husband, daughter, and younger son, Seoyeon is a strict mother, also with high expectations, though she is not afraid to display her disapproval. She dotes on Minjun for taking after her magically. Hoyeon receives less attention from her mother for being a witch, rather than a faerie, but knows that at the end of the day, Seoyeon will always be there.

To Yeonjun, Seoyeon is absent. At least Kwangjun will acknowledge his existence with polite greetings and small talk, Seoyeon will not speak to Yeonjun unless absolutely necessary. Yeonjun will never know the warmth of a mother's hug.

Most of Aethian society know that Hoyeon first debuted into society as a faerie, like her mother. But somewhere along the way, tragedy struck the Choi clan and Hoyeon was no longer able to associate magic with positive feelings and love; although nobody knows what happened, Hoyeon transformed into a witch forever more. Where she had had talent in hydrokinesis like her father, her power now lies within Tempest and Storms, ruinous magic from the depths of the ocean.

To her parents, Hoyeon is their rebellious, spirited child and although they wish she would follow a more traditional path, they accept her for forging her own way in the world; even if it's fraught with darkness.

To her siblings, Hoyeon is a loving and fierce protector. As the oldest, as the one most willing to put in the dirty work, Hoyeon will do everything in her power to care for and protect Yeonjun and Minjun.

To his parents, Minjun is their undisputed favourite. Ever since his birth, Kwangjun and Seoyeon have doted on his every whim, catered to his every need and supplied his with the best tools to succeed in life. It's a miracle that Minjun hasn't let his privilege go to his head; instead, he is the epitome of kindness, empathy and beauty.

To his siblings, Minjun is a troublemaker. In the best way. As his older siblings struggle to see the good in life sometimes, he takes it upon himself to care for them and make them smile. Although he's not as immune to their parents manipulations, Minjun doesn't hesitate to call them out behind closed doors for their behaviour towards his sister and brother.
