This history happened in the first half of the twentieth century in London 
The complication:   Lady Moping took their little girl, Angela, to see her father for the very first time since that episode –with reluctance and reticence, Lady M. had always visited him like that. When they got in there, Angela didn’t give too much value to her father state, who showed himself to be extremely worried about writing a letter to the Pope.  On the other hand, a very kind person was looking after Lord Moping, he seemed a very nice male nurse. The Director told them that he was an inmate too, but this case was an odd one, because he helped a lot inside the institution. This man, Mr. Loveday had been acting as if he were his assistant or similar, but only because of his kindness, his gentleness –a great old man. He had been in that hospital since an accident in which a young woman unknown to him, who was riding her bike, was knocked off her bicycle and throttle by him. 
The Rising Action:  Angela couldn´t stand this lovely man, so stable, being hospitalized there, he was too good— he was too warm. Then she asked him if he wouldn’t like to be free in the outside world and he answer her that he only needed to do something else. So, she studied the laws about psychiatric and, surprisingly, make him be liberalized by the Director. 
The Climax:  Eventually, Mr Loveday received a party from the people in the hospital. Everybody was between happiness and weeping because of his departure. He finally came out and began to walk away from the lunatics’ building, he was so fuc* free. Two hours later from his liberation he was back in the hospital. People didn’t understand such an event. 
The Resolution:  
Half a mile up the road from hospital a girl and her bicycle, were found thrown into the ditch. Somebody had put his hands over her little throat and had killed her. The little girl was there accidentally, the wrong moment, the wrong place. Mr. Loveday was a very kind man...

Angela: Is the daughter of Lord and Lady Moping, she is a friendly and innocent woman.
Mr. Loveday: Also lives in the County home for Mental defectives, he was also crazybecause he killed a girl. He was known as a helpful and friendly person.

some time after that Lady Moping went to that hospital with her daughter to visit Lord Moping, Angela (The daughter) didnt care too much about her dad but she did worried about Mr.Loveday, an old man who was nice and servicial (He was there because years ago he had killed a little girl in a bike). So she started to try to get him out of there. She eventually succeded in her job to get him out of there.
There was a big party on the hospital to say goodbye to Mr.Loveday, so he left....
Two hours later he came back to the hospital and stay there.
THEY ALL WERE ATONISHED BECAUSE OF HIS COMING BACK.
half a mile away a little girl was foud dead with her bike next to her.
 The little girl was there accidentally, the wrong moment, the wrong place. Mr. Loveday was a very kind man…

His "little outing" is a metaphore of a "murder", that is why he wanted to get out of the asylum. " I could settle down again easier, and devote myself to the poor crazed people here with a better heart. Yes, i do feel that" ( page 26, paragraph 5), Mr loveday said when before getting out off the asylum.
