Start by cleaning all the old and unwanted things in your room. * A good idea might be to go to your nearest hardware store and pick up some storage boxes to put in some things that you don't use as regularly that can be stored away.

Next Once your room is cleared of things you don't need (which for some people you might not need the first step) start to do an extreme tidy up!! That means putting things in places where they seem most fit, and cleaning the fish tank, window, mirror and whatever other things that need to be cleaned.

Re furbishing time!! 

It's time to re-model and re-furbish. Your parents may allow you to paint your room so that could be a good start but for some of us we are happy the way our room looks paint wise ( and maybe our parents won't let us). Anyway you can move cupboards, beds around even restore them or get creative with the paints so they look new and FABULOUS  for the coming year, some might be even lucky enough to go out with the old furniture and in with the new. I recommend that you pick a style that will last you the coming years you might not get another chance to change this much again.

Now its time for the fun part!!

Time to add all your new stuff and buy some new décor to make your room look the part!! I really think that new in style is fairy lights, mirrors and polaroid pics of you and your friends & fam. But it's all up to you about how your room should look, after all your the one who owns it!!
