Additionally, I think the "Let America be America Again" portrayed the American Dream well in that it was selective. Not every American had the ability to rise up. Immigrants, colored people, and others that were poor, but worked hard were fooled with the idea of freedom. It relates to The Great Gatsby in a way because not everyone was like Gatsby because George's American Dream was crushed.
