A Socratic Seminar is a discussion about a topic with many different points of view. You are supposed to listen and share your point of view and others'. We had two Seminars, one being about civil rights in the 1960's and today, and one about the impact of Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol." I recently found a video of a presentation I did in fifth grade. There was a lot of stuttering. Now, I presented a speech to the entire band, and won Vice President of Moosic Council.
