You see or hear advertising online on websites, on billboards beside roads, on the sides of buildings in large cities, and in windows, and I'm sure there are other places to find them too.

Companies are getting their messages out to children by targeting kids with advertisements. They usually use whatever is trending and popular at the time to showcase their product and to show how the target audience has to have the product. Now, they put their advertisements on the internet more because less and less people have cable television now.

I would say that the type of advertising that makes companies the most money is video advertising that is memorable. An example is when a commercial has a catchy song or tune that sticks in your head. If it's stuck in your head, you'll probably remember the project.

With young children, the best method of advertising is probably having recognizable characters in the ad. With an adult, the best method is probably having a catchy tune along with the product.

I remember a commercial that was advertising Mountain Dew Kickstart. I remember it because it had this "Puppy Monkey Baby" thing that was just weird. The fact that it was just really weird makes it memorable.

Where do you see/hear advertising?

You see advertising anywhere where people are, and à great population of them live or are usually. You generally find it where busy places are, such as new york, or washington. It’s very populated there, and there is a lot of advertising there. Also, you see commercials online, when watching tv.

Commercials were a huge way to market Christmas products to Children. With Netflix and Internet fewer and fewer people have cable. How are companies getting their message out to children?

They are getting their messages out to kids by relating their commercials to them. They are making the commercials connect to them, or the ads connect to them.

With your partner research how companies advertise today. What type of advertising makes the company the most money?

The ones that are on adult channels that are for adults, because there are more people watching adult shows then kid shows, so it is easier to advertise on adult shows. Also, with more people watching, more people are likely to buy, and more money.

Decide what method would work best with what age group?

10 and under: Catchy songs, relatable topics or references.

18-10: More mature stuff, and informational speech.

19 and up: More sexual or intriguing topics, with more attractive models, over informational content. Also, over exaggeration.

Do you recall any TV commercials? I don’t remember it exactly, but I remember every time listening to it, I would ask my mom if we could get some.
