         <description><![CDATA[<div>After reading Backwards Design by&nbsp; Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe, What I want to remember is the effectiveness and efficiency of backwards design. I especially appreciate the line " To put it in an odd way, too many teachers focus on the teaching and not the learning." So often, teachers are caught up in conveying the message in the lesson and evaluating that message at a later time. Going into an activity with a particular goal in mind, as the steps suggests, ensures that the work being completed by the students is a purposeful as possible.</div>]]></description>
