I learned that it is important to measure students individual progress and growth. It's important to remember that these look different for each student as they learn how this school's learning model works.

I learned that it's more important to master the skills than just go off of regular standard based. We want our students to go more into depth. We want them to reach the ceiling, and not just stay on the floor.

I’m wondering how things will flow. Some of us have experienced parts of CBE & others are seeing these things for the first time. There’s excitement in my wonder

I am wondering about specific supports the K-2 teachers will want vs 6th grade teachers and how, thoughout the year, we can effectively diffrentiate for that in PD.

I'm still wondering how this will look in the day to day for classroom activities. How will I be teaching to students ts at different progressions in one class or supportingstudents who working on multiple projects during advisory times.

I really like the emphasis on evidence-based mastery versus using a traditional system. By focusing on a student’s level of mastery, I feel we can eliminate arbitrary penalties for slower growth while allowing other students to move at their own pace.
