The Katana represents the soul in most Japanese deffinitions. But in my family, it serves as a means to connect with my father. Who has studied and trained with the this blade for over 15 years. The connections that I have made when striking surfaces with the cold hard strip of metal, have brought this peice of cold hard strip of metal close to my soul. Just like the connections I have made with my community, it feels close to the sould when you get up and go to your local community college. This local peice was unsurprisingly not buffed out for a few weeks becuase of its purposefull message to the local Salinas community. This are of our community is a real treasure to the eyes, and all the senses for that matter. This sensitive wildlife gives our locals and non locals an amazing place for adventure and daydreaming. Our sensitive community shows up in some of the most beautiful places in the world. Which we luckily get to thrive in thanks to the ecosystems of Salinas/Monterey county. These Lone Cypress some of Monterey's most sensitive living pieces of history throughout the entire area.
