Designed specifically for classroom use, TedEd can be used to create lessons for students that are interactive and include Ted Talks of the teachers choosing.

On the teacher side of things, TedEd lessons may not allow for teachers to be creative in their lesson planning if they want to be.

It may be hard to find lessons that connect directly to what is being gone over in class.

These lessons can be used for online/hybrid teaching as independent for students to complete outside of class.

Students can learn a ton of extra information from the dig deeper section of lessons that teachers provide.

TedEd is designed specifically for students which means all of the content is guided students and their learning.

An English classroom could use "The Myth of Loki" to look at ancient literature and analyze myths from past times.

The whole premise of these videos is to encourage student to pursue their ideas and create talks similar to TedTalks. In any of my social studies classes I would work with students to help them create their own TedTalks on a variety of topics related to the class and then present them in a similar fashion like TedTalks.
