How I started hockey

When I was age 4, my mom's friend introduced hockey to me because his son was also playing hockey. When I was on the ice for the first time, I felt hard. I tried to skate on the ice but I kept falling down all the time. This made me feel frustrated.

Finding my own team

After a while of playing hockey, I decided to join a team. I joined a team named Taipei Tigers and it is a very nice and big hockey family. I was a beginner at that time, but I kept training myself and getting better.

My first champion

When I was around 6 years old, I joined a big cup game. This time I was ready for it. I played as a defenseman at the start. After my hard works, we won the first four games and entered the final. We gave our best shot and I finally got my first champion. I was so happy and touched.

Losing in the Finals in Hong Kong

After playing hockey for another year, I started to join some oversea tournaments. I went to Hong Kong for a tournament in 2023. We again won all the games and went into the finals. We celebrated our success. However, we had to play against the team from China. Unfortunately we lost. We were all in tears.

Special training

After losing games in Hong Kong, I wanted to improve my skills to next level so I went to Canada for a hockey camp in the summer. We went to Penticton, a small town but it is famous for hockey training. I learned a lot of new skills including stick handling and shooting.

I also made new friends during the camp. When I finished the camp I feel I have confidence in winning more games.

Revenge in Hong Kong

After training, I came to Hong Kong again this year in April. This time we had a lot of good players and we had a big chance to win the championship. I was late for two days because of the midterm, so I missed a few games. I was very exicited for this tournament because there are a lot of teams. My teammates won all the games that I missed and that made me feel better. After arriving at the airport, I rushed to the ice rink for a game at 9 o'clock. Luckily I didn't miss the game and I also got my first goal in the tournament. We won that game! I was happy to have my first win in Hong Kong. At the end, we won all the games and went into the finals. I was nervous but exicited. With all our cooperation and efforts, we finally got the championship! It was our first oversea championship! I was so proud of myself and my teammates!

Another championship in Bangkok

I never stop playing hockey so i participated another tournmanent in Bangkok early this month. This time I played with some new teammates from other teams again! I tried my best to play as a center/forward to help my teammates to score. I made great assists! In one game, I even got a hattrick and was selected as the MVP for the game. At the end we won championship over Beijing team with score 4:1. This is another huge victory in my hocey career!
