Indie Folk seems to have a more intimate way of communicating its message with its listeners even if the message is somber and glum. Indie Folk continues to evolve and show us what the power of music can achieve when heart plucking lyrics and slow, catchy beats mesh to create a beautiful, everlasting classic. Iron & Wine has once again brought us a wonderful assortment of pieces that flow together to create one of the greatest Indie Folk albums of 2017. Beast Epic is amazing and an instant classic in my book!
Iron & Wine has always impressed with their music and although there are some similarities they also continue to evolve and thrive. Iron & Wine has always had a fusion of mellow, slow songs and upbeat acoustic songs that flow well together but Beast Epic seems like a cut above the rest.
