You can read through the text that all of the facts comes through quite clear and are easy to understand but there isn't a lot of feelings and personal opinions in it. He could have added a part under the data sheet with an part why this has happened since then the reader already has the important parts so it's fine adding something to bind it more together.

What about the phrase about "good impression of the community?"

-She knows the audience on a deeper level therfore she is able to connect more to them and understand their needs. -She writes from the start what the money is used for. -The text is shorter and more understandable/direct.-she knows that it is a lowerclass neigborhood with a most likley lower income, so instead of writing the big total amount she writes the small amount each people needs to donate. -The envilope makes it easier to donate and respond.

The 1st had way to much details and was not organized in a propper way. It felt like we where reading a facebook post. There where a lot of numbers, but didn't really get to the point quickly enough. Us as readers lost motivation to read further. The 2nd text was much more clear. As the readers most likely are on their way out or comming back home, most of them might not have the time to read through all the details. Besides they most likely don't care. The 2nd text gets right to the point, making it easy for the reader to immediately make up their mind if they want to read further and perhaps donate.

Case 2B had clearer understanding of the the audience since she know its a low income community and she is just informing about the donation amout. And the structure was clearer and easier to get information out of. So if you just want to read som specific information in the text, you can easily find it.
