We discussed our answers about the Ageism question sheet. we concluded that we all practice Ageism in some form. As a group, we believe we all practice Ageism because we have certain expectations as to how older people should be. These expectations include how mature an older person should be, what an older person should act, and many others. We also tend to think older people meet certain characteristics. For example, they are wiser, they tend to lose things more easily, or even that they are more punctual than the younger generations. Ageism is a form of prejudice against older people, and we as a group believe that in some way all people practice Ageism.
