Government impacted Mesopotamian/Siberian society the most because many of the people's actions and ways of life were deeply impacted by the government's laws and rules and influence. In document 2 it says, "In the code of Hammurabi, the laws concerned daily life, business medicine, property, and family.

In document 5 it says, ''It is important because it created a set of rules that helped to govern a civilization while trying to protect people even if they had little political power. This shows that Hammurabi has lots of rules and an eye for an eye is a code that he has. If one of Hammurabi's guards did some thing wrong he would do''an eye for and eye and a leg for a leg. That is what Hammurabi does for his punishments if the guards do something wrong.
