So far I know when the writer is trying to persuade the audience to buy their product or whatever they're trying to advertise, Generally when trying to persuade or convince the audience that their product is trustworthy. You have to know your audience before trying to persuade them. Normally when they're advertising they'll have a catchphrase. In every ad there will be the three elements that the writer use either pathos, ethos or logos, Logos= logic and reasoning, Pathos= emotional appeal and ethos is character and credibility.

1. I learned that you should usually use more logic over emotion when advertising. 2. pathos, ethos, and logos, i learned that character and credibility can persuade the audience to buy your product over an unknown company. 3. to always be polite and reasonable when persuading someone to buy a product. 4. to clearly state your position, for example, you have to make the side your on clear.

1. I learned that there are three elements of persuasive writing, Ethos, pathos, and logos and that each of them are very different and have their own effective strengths when trying to gain trust and interest. 2. Today I learned additional methods to intrigue an audience such as hyperbole and tone. As well as the idea of over emphasizing an idea to make an impact and how the way you phrase something can make all the difference in the world depending on what words you use.

I learned the steps of art of persuasion and also the three elements of persuasive writing, they are pathos, logos and ethos. Ethos is one for ethics like vote for me or you are trustworthy, pathos appeals to the audiences common interest or their emotions and finally logos is a type that uses facts and knowledge to persuade the audience. This week I just got mainly better at understanding the things that were previously mentioned and I also saw how literacy devices can be used to persuade people.😎😎😎😎
