The new york post says that "Instagram can wreck positive body image in just 30 minutes" which in fact has to be true. I perceive by seeing my instagram feed how specially women feel the need of look perfect for the camera, they also try to imitate other women that might look perfect but we all know that perfection doesn't exist and something that does exists is photoshop and the famous filters.

We all know that a long Instagram session can leave you feeling a bit insecure about the way you look no matter if you are a woman or a man, and also we all know how guilty we are of spending even hours scrolling through the app when we arrive home from school so we can be updated (feeling a bit of FOMO) but  according to a new research says The new york post, from two Sydney, Australia universities has quantified just how fast the app can ruin your day and is half an hour.

That amount of time is so small compared to all the long hours we spend on instagram daily, and how seeing someone on vacation in miami looking perfect can ruin our peception of our own body and low our self-steem 

All of the issues I named before are very serious and important, we need to take care of our mental health, Instagram is very fun and entertaining but we need to have our limits.
