Our (Natascha Šumnik, Sarah Zernig & Victoria Sorger) semester project is about the episode "lucky penny" of the series How I Met Your Mother.

Why we picked it: We decided to use this episode as the characters frequently use the Conditional III in their dialogues. The series therefore reflects real grammar, so students get used to hear language in an authentic context. In addition, using TV shows in the language classroom allows a small break from "traditional" classroom activities and furthermore increases students' motivation. As digital learning becomes increasingly important, we decided to incorporate a digital medium into our semester project.

Language points: grammar (conditionals), vocabulary, pronunciation
