In this sub-chapter, Jack Will, Charlotte, Julian and Auggie went on a tour around the school, they visited their homeroom and the Science Lab. They share their impressions of their teachers, Ms. Petosa and Mr. Haller to Auggie. The chapter also highlights Julian's dislike for Auggie, evident in his attempts to avoid physical contact, which Auggie notices. By the end, Auggie begins to open up and shows a willingness to ask questions.

In this sub-chapter, it mainly wirtes about August's english lesson with his teacher Mr.Browne, along with Jack, Charlotte, Julian, Henry e.t.c.

It states how Mr. Browne likes preceps, and tells plus encourages his whole class to write it in a section in their english homework.

I think that this chapter showns us how funny Mr.Browne is, espically when he cracks jokes and makes everyone in the class laugh. He also has the way of keeping his class slient without reminding them. I also think that Mr.Browne is very creative, as he asks his students to think of a precept over the summer and send it to him.

I really like his precept "Your deeds are your monuments" which is his precept in October.

In this sub-chapter, we know about Ms Petosa left her job on Wall Street about six years ago to pursue her ''dream'' and teach kids. Then, everyone have a short introduction. Julian introduce himself the things he got through this summer and his achievements before. Ms Petosa encouraged Auggie and helped him overcome his fear, making him feel more welcome. Julian said" That's cool about how you are pursuing your dream," and smiled proudly.

the deal was when they finish a tour around the school and Charlote and Juslian ask August where is the baby chick

This chapter is about Auggie eating lunch at school.When he was eating,a girl -Summer came to eat with him. Others ask why she came to eat with Auggie.Then they set up a rule for their table-all the people who sits there must have a summer name.

In this chapter, Agguie was just eating lunch at school 🏫 . When he was eating, a girl came,Summer.She had long wavy brown hair, and wore a brown T-shirt with a purple peace sign on it. She put her lunch tray on the table, and sat next to Auggie🪑. They both introduce themself 🙌🏻and they talked about the summer names like his classmates and Summer's. At last, 💬they talked about what if students who have winter names could or could not sit here, lastly they will let them sit there.He nodded and Summer gave him a 👍🏻 . Auggie thinks Summer looked like her name.She had a tan, and her eyes were as green as the leaves 🍃.

In thsi sub chapter, August and other kids, went in the classroom, and the teacher, Ms Petosa introduced her self and her background information very much which shows that she is very friendly and very talkative, and let other kids introduce them selves.

Also, the chapter shows clearly that Ms Petosa pay attention to August,

This shows that Mss Petosa is very friendly.

In this sub-chapter, August went home and told mom and dad about his experence, and who he met and if they are nice and what they asked him and stuff. Which mom thought Jillian was nice, but he was rude to August. And he thin the nicest one is Jack. And his mom think that he dosen't want to go to school and asked him is he wanted to, because he spoke like that he hated his experience, 'So, August, what's the deal with your face? Were you in a fire or something?

Part1:The Performance space p.27-30

In this sub-chapter,the scence take place in the Drama room where the musical -Oliver took place .During the tour Charlotte and Julian had a typical fight against each other that was about August.Due to Julian's curiousity he kept asking about what was the deal with August's face,that was very rude. As August's friend Charlotte defended August until he stopped.

Even though that was very rude,August still didn't care.And the tour moves on......

The sub-chapter "The Summer Table" mainly talks about Auggie making a new friend in lunch called Summer. She sat with Auggie without looking surprised or any other special expression. Auggie really liked Summer because of the way how kind she is to Auggie. This sub-chapter also explained to us that Summer does not care about Auggie's wierd face as shown in the text "I realized she had been one of the girls I had caught looking at me just a few minutes earlier: hand cupped over her mouth, whispering, I guess. I'm summer by the way." (96 words)

The chapter lunch is about August trying to sit with his classmates but his classmates rejcted him.Then,a girl named Summer went over and offered to sit with him. They realised that their names are kind of similar and decided to make a 'Summer Only' lunch table----only kids with Summer names can sit on the table but if someone with a name not related to Summer, like Winter names, they are still allowed to sit there. They also figured out that they have a same teacher----Ms.Petosa.
