I would also consider incentivizing flu shots and/or handwashing. I didn’t see your absentee data broken up into monthly trends however I would expect the winter months to be higher. A lot of insurance payers do so knowing the importance of preventative care.

2- Continue working with the Oklahoma City police PAL program. Make B.A.G a requirement to participate in those programs as an incentive.

2. What do our schools need district-wide to motivate or Allow students to come to school? Giving district wide funding for schools to have resources on hand that improve attendance.

Have the various groups present and have signup events to get more students involved in these activities.

Instead: Create clubs throughout the school that are intentionally connected to the student interest.

1. a selected hour of the day is created to be a club hour.

2. These club offerings are created based off of student voice. surveys, class projects, etc…

3. Each teacher in the building is trained to oversee the club.

4. Post-graduation information is provided during these clubs.

What does this accomplish?

Connection: Connections get made with students sharing the same interest and adults who advocate for those interests.

Beneficial electives: These electives are being created solely for student outcomes.

Extensions to afterschool opportunities: This would provide opportunities for these clubs to meet after school as an extension to what was being done in class.

Can we partner with churches putting hygiene packages together-based on what type of hygiene they say they need or work with our local thrift shops to see if they will donate items to families in need on certain days of the month. Clothes, shoes, coats, blankets -hygiene items

Jobs at OKCPS for our hs. Students that help them earn money and be at their job location- saves time, gas and travel time.

We can post our resources every where and mention them but if it doesn’t hit at the person needed or the time they needed they don’t hear or see it. Example my children were told multiple times they get free votech until 22, every time I reminded them they literally said no one told me!

We have homeless alliance that prints the chronicles and now has a print shop near CLC could we partner with them for student id card printing?
