Being in the classroom my entire career, I know I want to help as many students as I can attain the goals they have in life. Within the next few months, I hope to complete the necessary courses and attain my Principal Certification. I will then have plenty of time to decide whether or not my place is back in the classroom or possibly on the administrative side of education. I've been very fortunate to spend the majority of my career in the Methacton School District and leaving the classroom and potentially the district would be a very tough decision.

Although having another degree provides the options to change my career path, what I enjoy most about education is working directly with the students. There is no greater joy than seeing a student accomplish a goal that they had previously never thought possible. 

I hope that this course can further develop my skills in regards to communicating not only with the students and parents, but also with my peers and others in education.
