Teacher Susan's Fave restaurant in town

"Tuan Tuan" A Mala Xiang Guo restaurant in Chiang Rai is probably the best place I’ve been to for spicy food. It’s located near the university's night market, and the atmosphere inside is very nice and comfortable with good air conditioning.

The chef has created a tasty menu where you can pick your own ingredients. I chose beef slices and enoki mushrooms with the milky mala soup, which was both creamy and spicy. It indeed has full of rich flavor. The portion was generous, and the price was affordable compared to other hotpot places.

Although it can be busy in the evenings, the staff were surprisingly friendly and helpful unlike those in Myanmar. They made sure we had everything we needed and even suggested the right spice level for us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Chiang Rai because of both the food and the service. You’ll remember the experience.

“The Kudos Cafe” which is situated in Yadanar Road, Thingangyun township. The area around the cafe is quite busy, noisy and crowded. We can see many restaurants, cafes, private schools, and offices around the cafe. But when you get into the cafe, you will feel the quiet and cozy environment unlike the outside area. There are various kinds of coffees such as Latte, Cappuccino etc. We can also enjoy various kinds of cakes, sandwiches and cookies, etc. What I like most about is the taste of cakes. I feel that the cakes are fresh and the taste is fantastic. Second thing I like about this cafe is_ its environment. It’s very quiet and cozy. We can enjoy a little while in here to have a break from our busy life. We can even study and read some novels in this cafe. Lastly, the cafe has their own application which is very useful. We can collect points each time we buy their products and we can also make some food-and-drink-orders for delivery and take away by using their app. We can see a lot of cafes in our environment, but the Kudos Cafe is different from others in some ways. I believe that the cake’s freshness and its taste is superior to others. The good customer service and also affordable prices are the plus factors of this cafe.

Burmese Cuisine Buffet Restaurant in Bagan

"Shwe Tile Kyaw" is located in Bagan Myothit. It is the most delicious Burmese cuisine restaurant I have ever been to. The restaurant offers two options: portion meals and a buffet.
I chose the buffet, which included six main dishes and many side dishes. This restaurant is completely different from others because its side dishes are incredibly delicious. Usually, side dishes are tasteless. I actually enjoyed the side dishes more than the main dishes.
The main dishes included pork, chicken, beef, and goat curries. Their flavors were similar to the food we usually cook at home. However, the side dishes were amazing . I ate a lot of tamarind leaves salad and fried corn. I didn’t eat much of the main dishes.
After lunch, they also served fried peanuts, tea leaf salad, and jaggery as desserts. These were free which made the lunch more enjoyable.
From my review, you might think the food would be expensive, but actually the price was very fair. In addition, the owner of the restaurant was very friendly and sociable.
Therefore, if you are planning to visit Bagan, you should definitely go this restaurant. I believe you will enjoy the meal and create unforgettable memories.

Delicious Korean Food at Omuk

"Omuk" is definitely the best restaurant I've ever been to for Korean food. Different kinds of Korean dishes are available at this restaurant. It has branches in many cities in Myanmar. I went to the Yangon branch which is located on the ground floor of Junction City. The place is pretty noisy, but it has plenty of space and the air conditioning is cold and refreshing enough.

The chef has created many delicious dishes based on authentic Korean spices imported from Korea. I tried spicy noodles, tteokbokki, mala omouk soup, and bibimbap. The taste and flavor were excellent compared to other Korean restaurants. In my experience, I didn’t have to wait for a long time for my food even though there were lots of customers. The prices are affordable for everyone. Although it can be busy and crowded at the weekend, I was still able to get all the dishes I wanted until closing time. If you go at the weekend, make sure to book a table unless you don’t mind waiting for a seat. When they are really busy, the staff’s service is not very good, and they can seem impatient. However, they still paid attention to my orders and made sure I had everything I needed.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Korean food. I hope you enjoy their yummy dishes as much as I did when you try it.

The book I’m never tired of reading is “လက်ကျန်လရောင်” written by the author Juu. The book was very popular at the time I volunteered at a library, so I decided to read it. The story is based in Bagan, and while reading it, I felt like I had actually traveled there. Even now, I still feel the same, and the book shows you the beauty of pure love. By reading it, you can learn a lot about Bagan, even if you have never been there before. Moreover, there is a special place that you will want to visit after reading it. That village is called Min Na Thu, where the female character lived. The characters’ childhood memories are also connected with that place. I usually enjoy visiting it whenever I go to Bagan. I believe you won’t feel bored while reading this book, which is why I highly recommend it.

Study Group

I recently watched 'Study Group ' , a South Korean drama. It was about a boy called Yun Ga Min, who was really into studying despite his poor grades. Due to his low GPA, he had to move to Yusung Technical High School, which was famous for school bullying.

As he was not good at studying, he tried to find study partners, who was more intelligent than him and formed a study group. From then on, he had to face many problems such as protecting his friends from bullies since studying hard was banned in this school and the majority of people were villains, who always tried to influence others using their power.

Anyway, villains in the story were finally defeated. The story had some emotional plot twists that made me cry. One part that really stayed with me was when he said ' 𝙔𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙚𝙩. 𝙄 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙢𝙚'. Moreover, the drama showed the real-life struggles of young people chasing their dreams. Also, the soundtrack was beautiful and matched my mood perfectly. If you like toughing stories about youth and dreams, I totally recommend it.
