All our countries have a rich history of old and forgotten varieties which have their own stories to tell.
Some names are very creative and some are very funny. Some names are related to the taste and usage (Joiser Einmachkirsche- cherry for stewing), some to the colour or shape (Ziegenhorn- Goat horns) and some were given the name of a queen (Königin Luise-strawberry) 
Our time travel just started and will going on for some time. Students learnt a lot about their ancestors but mainly they started to think more about their own consumption and shopping habits.
