         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>The mandatory wearing of the hijab symbolizes the political and religious changes brought about by the Iranian revolution.</strong></p></li><li><p>Some legal systems accept the hijab as an order to cover everything except the face and hands, while others accept it as an order that covers the whole body. </p></li><li><p>Islam took hold as the predominant religion and culture of Iran following the Arab conquest of the nation in the seventh century. Since then, Iranian women have been wearing the hijab, a straightforward scarf that covers the neck and hair but leaves the face uncovered. Muslim women see the hijab as a representation of their identity, piety, and dignity.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
