They wanted&nbsp; their country to stand out.They also traded because if they lacked something and another country had it they would trade what the other country needed and got what they needed back.They traded for survival.For example <em>:</em><strong><em>N. Africa </em></strong>needed<strong><em> gold </em></strong>for <strong><em>wealth</em></strong> and since <strong><em>West Africa </em></strong>had gold but lacked salt they each traded.<br>They each traded to get what they wanted or needed to get a better country.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Asia and Europe had a trade route to transfer luxury goods from areas with surpluses to others where they were in short supply.  Africa and Europe had Europeans trade with  the African people cloth so in return they would get spices, ivory, and gold.  I think they all trade with each other to get what they wanted.</div>]]></description>

Each country wanted to be powerful, each country had something the other countries wanted. Explorers went to Europe for metal ware and wine, Asia for spices, and Africa for gold.&nbsp; Trade brought new ideas and new jobs. Traders, Merchants and sailors became richer. During this age everyone became interested in exploration for the sense of adventure, New found land and to spread religion.<br><br></div>]]></description>
