How does a child of genius fit into the world of his peers or even of his parents?

I think it would be challenging for the peers and the parents to understand the child. Although the child is gifted with such a great knowledge the child still develops like any normal child. They are going to have their bad days and misbehave, and I think peers and parents fail to realize that just because the child is very smart does not mean they are as mature as they think. I think the parents and peers also do not understand that the child is more sensitive than normal and that there is more tot he child than just being gifted.

Is a prodigy the product of nature or nurture?

I think a prodigy is made from both nature and nurture. Children all go through stages of growth, but some are born with advanced abilities such as being very smart (nature). Then i think that nurture also plays a role in a prodigies life because their parents could influence them to continue their abilities when they child may not want to act upon them. (idk why but this meme made me think hey look at me I am gifted!!!!!)
