Taking part to this project has been a great chance for me and my students to learn a lot about other countries, their cultures and the basic principles of democracy. Many different activities have been carried out and all of them have positively affected my students contributing to their growth as resilient citizens of a better future world.

The year we have spent working on the project has been a very difficult year and unfortunately some of the countries involved in the project have been victims of terroristic attacks. Working on values such as democracy, human rights, peace, tolerance, European citizenship and friendship has helped all of us not to lose the hope in a better future in spite of all the sometimes overwelming feelings of sadness and disillusionment. Staying together and sharing our ideas about peace has helped us to think that if we are educated to positive values, these values can turn into reality and create a better world to live in.

The project has proved to be an excellent opportunity of personal and cultural growth for all the students involved. Through skype conferences and activities on etwinning they have got in touch and exchanged opinions and ideas about the values fostered within the project.

All the students have improved their ICT skills since they have created presentations using different sorts of webtools; they have also focused their attention on how important is improving the skill of speaking English fluently if you want your ideas and thoughts to be appreciated by others.

It's been a honour for me working with such motivated students and collegues within such a great project!

I am working at a school in a small village. So taking part in this project has been a complete success because of a variety of different reasons. Not only for students, teachers have learnt a huge number of new activities we can use with an educative purpose:

Our students had the opportunity to be in contact with teenagers from other countries

They could share ideas and opinions about democratic values in Europe with students from other cultures

They could take part in digital activities that became a challenge for them and for us, teachers

Our students have improved their technological competence, by using new webtools and they feel now much more motivated to learn by using them

They need to improve their linguistic competence in English, that is the language we are using to communicate

One of the most important positive point of this project was that students became more and more independent and they managed to get in touch with one another by using different tools.

In our school students created international groups and they were in touch even with students who were not involved in the project

Teachers started being a guide and in the end we followed our students on their way of managing perfectly with etwinning and other webtools

Definetely, it was a pleasure for me, all my mates and all the students involved to take part in this fantastic project.

Ever since the project was granted we have been working together in a very communicative and productive way. Stundets and teachers from six countries spread all across Europe have been actively been involved in umpteen sub-projects which in the end made every character feel part of the whole programme. If one takes a closer to the countries' set of curricula this eTwinning / Erasmus+ project shows a wide variety of modern and innovative methods to achive the goals set. In a nutshell the the results and outcomes of the activities so far have been:

- Students as well as teachers have become familiarized with what the "European idea" as such means. They have thus made an important step further to the iam of becoming active European citizens appreaciating the concept of a united Europe.

- In times of global crises - be it economic or cultural - we as teachers helped the students align themselves along certain basic democratic values. We showed them the importance of being open-minded but also being critical to these day's manipulative tendencies.

- In terms of an adequate and up-to-date exchange of ideas we have made broad use of modern media, e.g. Youtube, e-magazines, PPPs, Popplets, Kahoot contests etc. We all have received positive feedback that the pupils really enjoyed doing these activities - something normal classes do not give rrom to. This project in fact enriched the students' portfolio with greater modern media competences, a skill they will be able to make use of in the future.

- Last but least: Even in times when culture and language were at first an obstacle the groups of students and teachers always found ways to a final mutual understanding. Here, too, the participants showed role models in terms of communication problem-solving. The many comprensive result platforms on eTwinning are in a way self-evident and show proof of the participants' deligence to the project.

Even though this list is to be considered a mere sketch of what we did we can feel proud of our students and what they have already achieved. Looking to the second half of the Erasmus+ remaining and havving met so many nice people I know that this is just the beginning. A lot of further interesting activities will be waiting for us. Let's get it on then!
