Gran Teatro Falla.

Where it consists of that throughout a whole year the comparsas and carnival groups chirigotas and others, rehearse their repertoires and elaborate a costume, their own theme, different and very peculiar.

And they present it to a jury which is in charge of scoring and evaluating the groups.

But without a doubt the

great essence of the carnival of Cádiz arises in the streets of the city, in the alleys of the " 'Tacita de Plata' , where people mill around and wait fervently for their songs to be sung, lyrics that come out of the heart, that make the hair stand on end, and also more than a few laughs with their peculiar jokes. It is certainly not just any carnival.
