         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would give this student a checklist that has all of the steps for the day’s assignment. The key here is to not make the check-list too chunked, as having too many steps could cause the student to become overwhelmed. This checklist that breaks down the assignment while also not being to broken down could help the student recognize each thing expected of them and give them a goal to achieve. This check list could also help give them the opportunities to finish a step and then take a short break.</div>]]></description>

When they have completed the assignment they will get to take a small brain break. I would monitor their anxiety levels visually and verbally in an attempt to give breaks when needed.  I would also try to relate their assignment to things which they like and are interested in to help reduce anxiety levels and provide for better understanding.  I would attempt to break the lesson down and provide mini lessons based on the main points of the daily lesson in an attempt to make sure that the student is at the very least, getting the main points of the lesson and then I would add any additional information based upon time available.</div>]]></description>
